Elementary Assembly
On Friday, at 9:30am, in the school's gym we will have a celebration of our AR students that met their 3rd quarter reading goals and acknowledge our character count students that were chosen for the trait of kindness.

T-Shirt Painting
Thank you to all the volunteers that helped our elementary students make their writing month t-shirts. It was wonderful to have the extra hands!
We will be celebrating 100 days of school on Friday, Feb. 3rd, @ 2:15pm, in the gym. Students will get to enjoy a ice cream sundae and participate in some 100 day activities. We also will be announcing to the students our kick off for Writing Month!

Jan. 10th - PTO Meeting
Hi,
I hope parents can attend the PTO meeting tonight. The meetings only last about 30 to 40 minutes. We discuss current projects that we are working on and share ideas for upcoming events. We have writing month coming up in February for the elementary students so we will be planning some things that PTO can help out with during that month.
Remember the meeting time is at 6PM in the FCS room at the school.

Year 2012
Wow, time has just flown by for me. I have made the New Year resolution of keeping more up-to-date on my blog! Last time I posted was in November! I can do better then that!
I have lost my camera charger so I guess I am going to have to borrow one of the school's cameras in order to be able to post pictures. I have LOOKED everywhere. I don't know how I was able to lose that.
School starts up again tomorrow. I am glad! The hallways are terribly quiet! I am looking forward to seeing all my students and hearing what they have to share about their holiday break! I am sure they will all be so excited to be back at school! ;)
We have a PTO meeting scheduled for January 10th at 6PM in the FCS room. Everyone is welcome to attend so I hope you can mark that on your calendar and attend.
The end of the 2nd 9 weeks is on January 13th. Be sure to check on your child's progress on Power School. If you don't remember your login and password just call the office and we can give it to you again.
