Save Recess!

Some 2nd grade students in Miss Benoit's class were given a persuasive writing assignment this week.  The assignment was to convince me why I should keep recess for the elementary students.  They were told that we should do away with recess and just put more time into reading and math.  I listened to their speeches today and was very impressed.  They came up with a lot of good reasons for keeping recess.  I guess I will let them keep their recess!  : )
